Uploaded and generated files are temporary processing files rather than documents stored in a permanent public library.
Use Delete result on the completion screen if you want to request removal before automatic cleanup.
Presentation files are designed for editing and presenting, while PDF is useful when the goal is consistent distribution. Converting PPT or PPTX to PDF produces a static copy that can be attached to an email, submitted to a portal, printed or archived without asking the recipient to open PowerPoint.
Business presentations, training materials, pitch decks and classroom slides often need a read-only delivery format after editing is complete. A PDF gives the presentation a page-based structure and avoids exposing the original editable PowerPoint file when the recipient only needs to view the material.
PDFPA accepts both PPT and PPTX. The workspace creates a separate PDF and keeps the uploaded presentation unchanged. You can preview the generated PDF to check the slide sequence and page appearance before downloading the result.
A PDF does not reproduce PowerPoint animations, transitions, embedded video playback or presentation timing. Those interactive features are converted into static page content where possible. Fonts or advanced effects may also render differently if the processing environment cannot reproduce a PowerPoint-specific resource exactly.
PPT to PDF currently has no daily conversion quota and does not require a public account or subscription. Each job accepts one presentation up to 30 MB. Temporary uploaded and generated files are removed after the normal short result window.
