The crop changes the visible page area. Content outside that area may still exist inside the PDF and should not be treated as securely erased.
Use Delete result after downloading if you want to request removal before the automatic cleanup time.
PDFPA Crop PDF is designed for scanned documents, exports with excessive whitespace and pages that need a cleaner visible frame. The visual crop workspace lets you define the page area directly instead of guessing values before seeing the document.
Use the movable crop rectangle to frame the part of the page you want to remain visible. Drag inside the rectangle to reposition it, or drag an edge handle to resize the crop area. When the same adjustment needs to be repeated accurately, enter top, right, bottom and left margin percentages in the controls.
A selectable preview page helps when different pages have different layouts, while page-selection controls determine which pages receive the crop. Unselected pages keep their original visible area and page size, so a document can be adjusted selectively rather than forcing one crop onto every page.
Cropping changes the visible page boundaries without intentionally rasterizing the PDF content. It is useful for trimming margins, hiding scanner edges or focusing the displayed page area, but content outside the cropped region may still exist internally in the PDF. Do not use cropping as a method for permanently removing confidential information; a dedicated redaction workflow is required for that purpose.
Crop PDF currently requires no account or subscription and has no daily crop quota. Each job accepts one PDF up to 200 MB and up to 2,000 pages, together with normal anti-abuse protections. Completed results are temporary and normally remain available for up to 10 minutes before automatic cleanup.
