Add consistent page numbers to reports, manuals and shared documents

Page numbers make long PDFs easier to reference, review and print. PDFPA lets you add pagination online with control over placement, numbering style and page ranges, so the numbering can fit the document.

Choose numbering that fits the page design

A report may use a centered footer, while a manual may place numbers at an outer corner. PDFPA provides nine anchor positions across the page so you can place numbers where they are easy to read.

You can use a plain number or include labels and total-page information such as Page 1 or 1 / N. Font, size, bold, color and margin controls help the numbering match the document.

Start numbering where the document actually begins

Not every PDF should begin at 1 on its first physical page. Covers or introductions may stay unnumbered. Page ranges and a custom starting number let you number only the pages that belong to the main sequence.

Numbers are added as vector text overlays, so the original pages are not flattened into images. There is currently no daily page-numbering quota; standard file-size and anti-abuse protections still apply. Results are temporary.
